As a prominent player in the student transport sector, we prioritize exceptional safety standards, superior customer service, and positive employee relations. We are currently in search of a Maintenance Technician I (310T/310S Licensed Bus Mechanic).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses issues and executes vehicle repairs along with other assigned tasks within qualification limits, adhering to all applicable Federal, State/Provincial, and local regulations. Conducts test drives to confirm that repairs have effectively resolved the issues.
  • Coordinates and secures necessary inspections and approvals for all significant repairs prior to the vehicle being released from the maintenance facility.
  • Maintains a safe, organized, and efficient workspace, ensuring compliance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial, and local regulations.
  • Identifies and communicates any additional maintenance or repairs deemed necessary during the execution of assigned tasks, including those requiring a higher qualification level.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified technician must hold a 310T or 310S license.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance within a heavy fleet workshop, focusing on repairs and engine rebuilds for diesel trucks or buses.
  • Hands-on experience with diesel and/or gasoline engines in a fast-paced, large fleet bus, charter, or trucking environment.
  • Proficient in computerized diagnostics.
  • General knowledge of shop computer systems, purchasing, and budget management.
