About the Role

MCK Temiskaming Shores is seeking a skilled Mine Mechanic to join our team. As a Mine Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment used in our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on heavy equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks as required.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts, ensuring that equipment is returned to optimal working condition.
  • Commissioning: Commission new systems and components, ensuring that they are properly installed and functioning as intended.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to heavy duty equipment mechanics, including assisting with repairs and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess the required certifications for heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Education: Hold a certificate or diploma in a related field, such as heavy equipment technology or mechanical engineering.
