About the Role

MCK Temiskaming Shores is seeking a skilled Mine Mechanic to join our team. As a Mine Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment used in our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on heavy equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks as required.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition.
  • Commissioning: Commission systems and components, ensuring that they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to heavy duty equipment mechanics, including assisting with repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions.
