As a Transportation Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing policies, procedures, and standards for traffic engineering. You will work closely with the Operational Traffic Engineering team to provide expert advice and guidance to regions, contractors, and external partners. Your extensive knowledge of highway safety and traffic operations will be invaluable in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop and recommend changes to current policies, standards, and procedures, and manage complex projects. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct research and develop policies, procedures, and standards for traffic engineering
* Provide expert advice and guidance to regions, contractors, and external partners
* Develop and recommend changes to current policies, standards, and procedures
* Manage complex projects

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
* Extensive knowledge of highway safety and traffic operations
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
