Transportation Infrastructure Specialist

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of bridge projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the design and engineering of bridge projects, including conceptual design, detailed design, and technical specifications
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables
* Work with various procurement models and roles
* Prepare reports and contract documents for review agencies, clients, and the public

**Requirements**

* Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
* 15+ years of experience in design and engineering of bridge projects
* Experience and understanding of alternative delivery methodology
* Metrolinx and AREMA experience
* CN Rail, CP Rail, and MTO experience considered an asset
* Familiarity with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC), Ontario design standards (OPSS), and client specific standards and requirements
* Experience in managing/mentoring or leading a group considered an asset
* Bilingualism in English and French considered an asset
