Transportation Infrastructure Specialist

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of bridge projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the design and engineering of bridge projects, including conceptual design, detailed design, and technical specifications
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff, including intermediate and senior engineers
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers
* Produce high-quality project deliverables, including reports, contract documents, and presentations
* Maintain contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, and clients

**Requirements**

* Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
* 15+ years of experience in design and engineering of bridge projects
* Experience and understanding of alternative delivery methodology
* Metrolinx and AREMA experience
* CN Rail, CP Rail, and MTO experience are considered an asset
* Familiarity with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC), Ontario design standards (OPSS), and client specific standards and requirements (MTO)
* Experience in managing/mentoring or leading a group is considered an asset
* Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset
