About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Construction Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from project sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to facilitate construction activities.
  • Assistance with Pipeline Construction: Help align pipes during pipeline construction to ensure accurate placement.
  • Rock Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites to prepare for construction activities.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as concrete vibrators, jackhammers, and trampers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Secure special attachments to equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
