Position Overview

Tradewind Construction Ltd is seeking a dedicated **Concrete Construction Assistant** to support our team in various construction tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and the successful completion of concrete-related tasks.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education or equivalent experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the **loading, unloading, and transportation** of construction materials.
  • Maintain and **clean cranes** to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Help in the **erection and dismantling** of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Support the alignment of pipes during pipeline construction activities.
  • Assist in **drilling and blasting** operations on construction sites.
  • Level earth to meet **fine grade specifications**.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction areas.
  • Tend to machines and equipment utilized in construction tasks.
  • Secure special attachments to construction equipment as needed.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with **concrete vibrators**.
  • Familiarity with **jackhammers**.
  • Knowledge of **trampers (Jumping Jack)**.
Experience

Prior experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
