Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Arterra Wines Canada, Inc. team as a Harvest Operations Assistant. As a key member of our winemaking team, you will be responsible for performing all harvest-related activities in the cellar and crush pad from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all cellar equipment while adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines, including lockout and confined space awareness.
  • Process and sort fruit to press and tank.
  • Perform cellar work, including cleaning, punch downs, additions, transfers, rackings, and barrel work.
  • Conduct inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Less than 1 year of similar experience.
  • Strong ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
