Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Dufferin Concrete, a CRH Company. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating a front-end loader to load trucks and production facilities on site, as well as performing various yard maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a front-end loader to load trucks and production facilities on site
  • Perform daily and weekly plant inspections to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant and yard, including loading aggregate material and concrete block making
  • Assist with day-to-day production preparation and maintain plant inventory of aggregate material
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth production operations
  • Train back-up operators as needed and complete all required training

Requirements:

  • Experience operating a front-end loader and mechanical aptitude
  • Competent in pre-trip inspections and able to work outdoors
  • High school diploma and valid G driver's license
  • Good communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
  • Basic computer skills
