Job Overview:

In the role of Transformers Services Product Manager at Hitachi Energy Canada Inc., you will take charge of our transformers services portfolio within North America. This position requires conducting comprehensive market analysis, pinpointing innovative product possibilities, formulating strategic plans, and collaborating with various teams across the organization. You will manage a diverse range of transformers services offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough market analysis to discover new product and service opportunities in the transformers sector.
  • Create product strategies that align with the overarching business objectives.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to successfully introduce new products.
  • Track and evaluate product performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from initial concept through to retirement.
  • Maintain the core values of safety and integrity as upheld by Hitachi Energy.
  • Exhibit a profound understanding of transformers and their associated components.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management within the transformers services industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • A data-driven mindset for making informed decisions.
