As a Commercial Insurance Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while managing both personal and commercial insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to Independent Business Unit accounts and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ensure timely and effective customer service by addressing inquiries, clarifying insurance details, and resolving client concerns.
- Review and process all incoming commercial documentation efficiently.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for insurers, including new client applications and insurance certificates.
- Liaise with insurance providers, advocate for clients with underwriters, negotiate renewal terms, and follow up on claims with adjusters.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years in customer service, with sales experience in any industry considered an asset.
- Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience in the insurance sector.
- RIBO Insurance License is preferred or must be obtained upon hiring.
- Familiarity with EPIC software is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
