Job Summary

The Managing Consultant is responsible for driving commercial growth, developing service areas, and ensuring the quality of our delivery against clients' current and future needs.

They will lead the development of intellectual property and approaches within their service area, using this for sales and team training.

They lead or review key proposals, lead the delivery of high-quality projects for clients, and coach senior and junior members of the team to improve performance across all areas.

About Avalere Health Consulting

Avalere Health Consulting leads strategic engagements with clients and is comprised of three main areas; Advisory, Expert Partnerships, and Training.

Our services include corporate strategy, portfolio planning, business development, commercial diligence, new product planning, launch strategy, go-to-market, customer engagement, and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to enhance strategic thinking across team members
  • Identify the need for project course corrections and orchestrate them internally and externally
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and secure alignment across audiences, internal and external, from junior stakeholders to senior leadership
  • Maintain excellent quality and timeliness of work
  • Organize tasks/workstreams to create high-performing teams, demonstrating excellent delegation and team management
  • Give team members a genuine sense of their contribution to projects and ensure client feedback is communicated
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 7 years of experience within life science/healthcare consulting.

They should have experience working with a range of pharmaceutical and biotech organizations to deliver commercial strategy across a range of therapeutic areas.

Proven track record in business development with a strong network is required.
