OBJECTIFS PRINCIPAUX:
À ce titre, vous souscrirez de manière indépendante les renouvellements et les avenants à mi-échéance des contrats d’assurance de biens et de dommages des petites et moyennes entreprises. L’équipe de souscription Commercial Express (CE) est responsable du portefeuille canadien de CE, un vaste portefeuille diversifié de renouvellements doté d’un modèle de souscription et de service simplifié. L’équipe de souscription CE travaille avec des courtiers à travers le pays et s’occupe de clients dans un large éventail de pratiques sectorielles, y compris les services professionnels, le secteur manufacturier, le commerce de gros, l’immobilier, les institutions financières, l’énergie, le divertissement et la technologie.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES:

- Recueillir et analyser les renseignements des comptes, et formuler des recommandations éclairées ou prendre des décisions concernant la souscription;
- Fournir un excellent service à la clientèle et gérer les demandes de risques et les communications des courtiers de façon rapide et judicieuse;
- Suivre des stratégies de souscription et des plans de service qui correspondent aux objectifs financiers de l’entreprise;
- Exécuter des plans et des stratégies de souscription, de taux et/ou de service précis qui atteignent ou dépassent les objectifs personnels et de portefeuille;
- Développer et établir des relations avec les intervenants internes et externes;
- Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe et contribuer à un milieu et une culture de travail stimulants;
- Contribuer aux projets, selon les besoins, afin d’accroître les activités de l’entreprise et développer continuellement ses compétences personnelles et professionnelles.

KEY OBJECTIVE:
In this role, you will independently underwrite small and mid-market Commercial Insurance Property & Casualty renewals and mid-term endorsements. The Commercial Express (‘CE’) Underwriting Team is responsible for the Canadian CE portfolio: a large and diverse book of renewal business with a streamlined underwriting and service model. The CE Underwriting Team works with brokers across the country and handles customers across a wide range of Industry Practices including Professional Services, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Real Estate, Financial Institutions, Energy, Entertainment, and Technology.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gather and analyze account information and make sound underwriting recommendations and decisions;
- Provide excellent customer service, including handling risk inquiries and correspondence from brokers in a sound and timely manner;
- Follow underwriting strategies and service plans that align with the Company’s financial goals;
- Execute upon specific underwriting, rate, and/or service plans and strategies that meet or exceed personal and portfolio targets;
- Develop and establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to an engaging work environment and culture;
- Contribute to projects as required to improve the business and continually develop personal and professional skills.
