Position Overview

What is the opportunity?

As an integral member of the Private Banking division, the Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering a personalized and exceptional welcome experience at our Private Banking Office. You will address incoming service requests through various channels, including in-person interactions, email, and phone, while identifying and addressing client needs through insightful conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a banking expert, dedicated to providing the Black Card Experience through superior service, transaction accuracy, digital education, and identifying opportunities for client engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Private Banking Support team to ensure a customized client experience for all service requests, whether in person, via email, or over the phone.
  • Implement professional hospitality standards and maintain effective communication with clients through various mediums.
  • Oversee conference room bookings and manage the presentation of marketing materials.
  • Monitor branch traffic and communicate with management regarding opportunities to enhance sales and service delivery.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Leverage technology to promote digital education, empowering clients to connect with RBC through their preferred channels.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated client service expertise.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of IFC or CSC certification.
  • Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration.
