Lead Client Growth as National Director

Bennett Jones, a leading Canadian law firm recognized for its exceptional workplace culture, seeks a highly accomplished professional to fill the role of National Director, Client Development based in our Toronto office.
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base within strategic markets. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Spearhead revenue expansion initiatives across key market segments, focusing on Private Equity, Investment Funds, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Corporate Finance practices.
- Cultivate and manage a robust network of client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including legal professionals and support staff, to ensure seamless client engagement and successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated success in senior management roles within a business development capacity, ideally within the legal services industry.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of strategic planning principles.
- Exceptional business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to identify emerging market trends and opportunities.
