Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Middle School team at Branksome Hall. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative support to the Assistant Head, Student Experience, 7-8, and engage with students and families in the Middle School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Assistant Head's calendar, ensuring timely and effective communication with students, families, and staff.

  • Provide administrative support for the preparation of communication and newsletters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Track budgets and manage financial resources, ensuring effective use of funds.

  • Serve as a first point of contact for Middle School students and families, providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • Support student-related activities and events, such as assemblies, Middle School events, and grade-level celebrations.

  • Provide a welcoming and engaging adult presence for students in the Middle School, offering support with passcards, uniforms, and general care and supervision.

  • Monitor attendance within the cohort and assist the Assistant Head in following up with students and teachers as required.

  • Support the creation of the internal calendar, ensuring effective planning and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

  • Highly developed organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suites, with the ability to learn new software with ease.
