The Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Administrative Coordinator to join the Middle School team, providing support to the Assistant Head and interacting with students in the Middle School on a contract basis. Reporting directly to the Assistant Head of Student Engagement for Grades 7 & 8, the successful candidate will manage the calendar, assist in preparing communications and newsletters, oversee budget tracking, and serve as the primary contact for Middle School students and their families.

The ideal candidate will facilitate student-related activities and events, including assemblies, Middle School functions, end-of-year celebrations, and concerts. They will also be a friendly and approachable adult presence for students, assisting with passcards, uniforms, inquiries, and general supervision as needed. Additionally, the Coordinator will monitor attendance within the cohort and assist the Assistant Head in following up with students and faculty as necessary. As part of the broader Senior and Middle School team, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of the internal calendar.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites, as well as the ability to quickly learn new software, is essential. A post-secondary degree and/or diploma in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of experience, is required. Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered. Previous experience in an educational setting is a significant advantage.
