About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at NORTHSTAR QUILTING AND SUPPLIES INC. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Office Administration: Maintain accurate records, order office supplies, and manage inventory to ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Greet visitors, direct them to relevant contacts or service areas, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
