National Sales Director, Specialty Business

As a key member of the Canadian Commercial Team, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales results through the leadership, coaching, and development of a team of Key Account Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with assigned accounts and healthcare professionals, managing sales performance, business analysis, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed all sales and performance objectives
- Provide formal and informal field coaching feedback to employees through consistent, well-documented activity
- Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Taro sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training
- Adhere to all compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies
- Review monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address opportunities and concerns
- Coach teams towards success from hire date onward, providing appropriate counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of the specialty strategy
- Willingsness to travel extensively across Canada for field coaching, customer meetings, and industry events
- Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a specialty sales management role
- Pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience in oncology an asset
- Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills with the established ability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influence cross-functionally
- Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to effectively analyze data to determine trends and inform strategy
- Bachelor's Degree required
Working Conditions:
- Extensive travel including weekends and extended travel when required
- Possess a valid driver's license
- 90-day minimum field day activity
