Job Title: National Sales Manager, Specialty Business

As a key member of the Canadian Commercial Team, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales results through the leadership, coaching, and development of a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs). The NSM will be accountable for managing sales performance, business analysis, and budgets. The role requires effective planning and execution of business activities, leveraging analytics and available resources to maximize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales and performance objectives
  • Provide formal and informal field coaching feedback to employees
  • Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, market access, sales operations, and training
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies
  • Review monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address opportunities and concerns
  • Coach teams towards success from hire date onward, providing counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of the specialty strategy
  • Will travel extensively across Canada for field coaching, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a specialty sales management role
  • Pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience in oncology an asset
  • Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and inform strategy
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive travel, including weekends and extended travel when required
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • 90-day minimum field day activity
