Job Title: Business Development Officer

Central Commercial Realty is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans to promote economic growth and development.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for investment and development.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Supervise professional and support staff to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment.
  • Plan and develop projects to stimulate economic growth and development.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts on economic development.
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on economic development.
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies to identify opportunities for investment and development.
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to inform business development decisions.
  • Develop feasibility studies to assess the viability of business development projects.
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach new customers and markets.
  • Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites.
  • Ensure that all necessary business and commercial licenses are in place.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and expertise on economic development.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
