About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Wholesale Specialist to join our team at MRMA CAFE LTD. as a key member of our meat department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Remove bones from meat, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cut poultry into parts, following established procedures.
  • Grind meats, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood, meeting customer expectations.
  • Prepare special orders, working closely with customers to meet their needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination to perform tasks efficiently.
Personal Qualities and Suitability
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Work effectively as a team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
  • Be available to work a permanent schedule, with the possibility of overtime.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
