Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to spearhead the Channel Integrations division, focusing on the strategy, development, and execution of API integrations with social media platforms. This position requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, strategic insight, and leadership capabilities. You will be instrumental in maximizing the benefits derived from these APIs, contributing to the creation of top-tier experiences and features for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with cross-functional partners to articulate and convey a clear vision for Social Network API integration that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. Identify potential new integrations and enhancements.
  2. Oversee the product lifecycle for social network API integrations from ideation to deployment. Develop comprehensive product specifications, user narratives, and acceptance criteria.
  3. Actively manage internal API communications and coordination, serving as a pivotal member of the channel communications process with various platform teams.
  4. Coordinate API modifications and updates across the Engineering and Product Organizations using project management tools.
  5. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement effective API integrations. Liaise with external social network partners to ensure successful integration.
  6. Work with engineering to devise a technical strategy for social network API integrations that aligns with and supports the company's overarching business objectives, fostering innovation and competitive edge.
  7. Collaborate with other Product and Engineering teams to assess Alpha and Beta partnership opportunities with Social Networks.
  8. Partner with Engineering and Product teams throughout the Alpha and Beta phases to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of social network APIs.
  9. Coordinate with Engineering teams to integrate work into the program management cycle, including creating initiatives, epics, and user stories, while sizing tasks, defining scope, and establishing timelines.
  10. Facilitate testing efforts, collect and analyze user feedback, and iterate on the product based on real-world usage.
  11. Ensure effective communication between internal teams and external partners, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned on project objectives and timelines.
  12. Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to guide product strategy. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in social network APIs.
  13. Manage and review product feedback, API feedback, and experiment requests from both internal and external partners.
  14. Oversee multiple API integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope. Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive project success.
  15. Collaborate with product, data, customer success, and sales teams to gather insights on customer demand and feedback for specific APIs to prioritize roadmap initiatives.
  16. Review feature requests related to social network APIs.
  17. Advise product managers and engineering teams on developer policies and terms of service.
  18. Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure readiness for launch. Prepare and execute launch plans, including training materials, documentation, and communication strategies to ensure successful product adoption.
  19. Monitor the performance of social network API integrations, collecting user feedback and leveraging data-driven insights to inform future development.
  20. Translate stakeholder requests and company vision into priorities and execution plans with engineers and product managers.
  21. Share compelling narratives on how technical initiatives are essential to customer-facing releases and provide visibility into technical product initiatives across the organization.
  22. Share insights and learnings with other product teams to assist them in building highly engaging products.
Qualifications
  1. A degree in computer science, business, or engineering, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Technical Product Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical roadmap delivery environment using agile methodologies.
  2. A solid technical foundation with experience in various programming languages and software development.
  3. Technical expertise and understanding of APIs, Webhooks, and Push Notifications.
  4. A strong grasp of the social media landscape.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical information clearly to developers, peer product managers, and senior leadership.
  6. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
