Position Overview:

The Integration Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of integration processes, adhering to established architectural standards. This position involves creating comprehensive documentation for stakeholders and fellow engineers to address challenges and utilize services effectively.

In this role, you will be tasked with developing and implementing solutions that ensure seamless integration of applications and processes across OTIP, while enhancing data integration. Additionally, you will contribute to the optimization of business systems to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all integration requirements for OTIP.
  • Design and implement solutions to integrate data across various OTIP applications, ensuring compliance with data regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand integration needs and coordinate with the team to implement solutions for business processes.
  • Explore and comprehend the various platforms and systems in use, identifying integration points and developing new channels.
  • Assist Quality Engineers in the development and execution of integration tests.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and monitoring to ensure integrations are functioning optimally.
  • Document, track, and report on integration performance and quality metrics.
  • Provide operational and technical support, addressing inquiries related to integration processes.
  • Investigate opportunities for automating repetitive processes.
  • Identify and communicate potential product and project risks.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies.
  • Support various Centers of Excellence in their continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

This position requires a unique combination of skills and experience:

  • A post-secondary degree or higher in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Technologies, including Azure Compute, Azure DevOps, Azure Integration Services, Azure Monitoring, Azure Network, and Azure Storage.
  • Understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts.
  • Experience with C#, .Net, and NuGet.
  • Proven ability to create, maintain, and test APIs across various platforms and systems.
  • Knowledge of API-driven automated data integration.
  • Familiarity with Experience-Process-System 3-tier integration architecture.
  • Capability to produce technical and operational documentation.
  • Ability to take calculated risks and generate innovative business solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively with both technology and business partners.
  • A highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • A motivated communicator with excellent customer service skills.
  • Certification such as Az-204 or Microsoft certification is considered an asset.
