Position Overview:

The Integration Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of integration strategies aligned with established architectural standards. This position involves creating comprehensive documentation for stakeholders and fellow engineers to effectively address challenges and utilize services.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Integration Engineer, your primary focus will be on developing and implementing solutions that facilitate the integration of applications and processes within OTIP, ensuring a smooth flow of data. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all integration requirements for OTIP.
  • Designing and implementing solutions to integrate data across OTIP applications while adhering to data regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to comprehend integration needs, coordinating with the team to execute various solutions for business processes, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Understanding the diverse platforms and systems in use, identifying integration points, and developing new integration channels.
  • Assisting Quality Engineers in the development and execution of integration tests.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and monitoring to ensure optimal and healthy integrations.
  • Recording, tracking, and reporting on integration performance and quality metrics.
  • Providing daily operational and technical support by addressing inquiries related to integration processes.
  • Investigating and promoting automation of repetitive processes.
  • Identifying and communicating potential product and project risks.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Supporting various Centers of Excellence (COEs) in their continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree or higher in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Technologies, including Azure Compute, Azure DevOps, Azure Integration Services, Azure Monitoring, Azure Network, and Azure Storage.
  • A solid understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts.
  • Experience with C#, .Net, and NuGet.
  • Proven ability to create, maintain, and test APIs across various platforms and systems.
  • Knowledge of API-driven automated data integration.
  • Familiarity with Experience-Process-System 3-tier integration architecture.
  • Capability to produce technical and operational documentation.
  • Ability to take calculated risks and generate innovative business solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Certification such as Az-204 or Microsoft certification is considered an asset.
