Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced .NET C# / SQL Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development principles and a proven track record in delivering high-quality applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure that applications meet business needs and technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
  • Develop and maintain .NET C# applications using object-oriented design principles.
  • Design, implement, and test database solutions using MS SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Document code and technical specifications for future reference and maintenance.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Application Developer with a focus on .NET C# and SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Proficiency in developing Windows Forms applications.
  • Experience with WCF web services and ASP.NET MVC is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies, DEV Express Framework, and pension plan financial regulations would be an asset.
