About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking an experienced.NET developer to join our team as a Senior Application Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for various requirements gathering and programming duties for application projects and enhancement tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex software applications using.NET frameworks and C#
  • Design and implement database solutions using MS SQL Server
  • Work closely with the application development and maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in the business areas for application testing and remediation
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between software applications
  • Participate in Agile development methodology and contribute to the development of software applications
Requirements
  • University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4-yr Application Developer (AD) experience
  • Experience gathering user requirements, system documentation, and creating user documentation/manuals
  • Experience with Entity Framework,.Net frameworks, and C# application development using object-oriented techniques
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Management Studio, stored procedures, data modeling, and reporting services
  • Experience with Windows Forms development, WCF web services, and ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps for source control, agile portfolio management, and release management
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IBM FileNet, IBM Case Manager, IBM Websphere, and IBM MQ
  • Experience creating and maintaining systems to manage workflows and unstructured data
  • Experience with Agile development methodology, object-oriented design, and creating class models and diagrams
  • Experience with Selenium load testing, ASP.NET Web API web services, and Angular Typescript web development
  • Experience with DEV Express Framework, pension plan financial filings, and regulations
  • Experience with TD Merchant Services/Bambora APIs and Microsoft Composite UI Application Block framework
