About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at C Psystems. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computing infrastructure, including networking, communications, and hosting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement a multi-site, wide area local network infrastructure (both wired and wireless) and ensure that all network resources are secure and meet business needs.
  • Server Hosting: Design and implement server hosting capabilities (cloud and on-premises) and ensure that all hosting solutions are secure and meet business needs. Support and maintain cloud-based Microsoft infrastructure, including hosting requirements for web, application, and database server-based services.
  • Disaster Recovery: Maintain a disaster recovery plan ensuring recoverability suits business needs. This includes operating backup and recovery capabilities, administering and supporting Local Area Network services and applications.
  • User-Based Computing: Configure and operate hosting and authentication services, including technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft DNS, and DHCP services. Provide technical support for connectivity to internal or external facing web services.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, including in a Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office environment. Preference is given to those with more experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365 Administration, VoIP administration, and experience in a municipal environment is an asset.
