Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, execute, and assess human resources strategies and initiatives.
  2. Provide guidance to management and staff regarding the application of human resources policies, benefits, and collective agreements.
  3. Facilitate the resolution of workplace conflicts and grievances.
  4. Conduct research and develop job classifications, role descriptions, and compensation structures.
  5. Oversee the administration of employee benefits, equity programs, and other human resources initiatives.
  6. Coordinate employee evaluation and performance management systems.
  7. Investigate employee benefits and health and safety protocols, recommending improvements as necessary.
  8. Recruit, train, and manage personnel.
  9. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or employees.
