POSITION: Customer Support Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advise current and prospective customers on the selection and purchase of electrical products, including electric motors and variable speed drives;
  • Establish and nurture robust business relationships founded on trust, respect, and commitment;
  • Prepare and manage pricing quotations, ensuring timely follow-ups and processing of customer orders;
  • Deliver exceptional post-sales support, particularly regarding parts replacement, warranty claims, and order tracking;
  • Manage sales invoicing through our internal computer system;
  • Serve as a communication bridge between clients and the repair facility to facilitate prompt and effective technical solutions;
  • Work closely with Technical Representatives to meet sales objectives and coordinate with the purchasing department on operational procedures;
  • Be available for emergency service rotation as required;
  • Provide in-store support during staff absences and vacations when necessary;
  • Carry out additional tasks to support the department or branch as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma of College Studies (D.E.C.) in a technical discipline or equivalent training;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical sales role within the industrial equipment sector, ideally focused on electric motors;
  • Familiarity with electric motors and variable speed drives is a significant advantage;
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office);
  • Results-driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction;
  • Exhibits sound judgment and the ability to prioritize effectively;
  • A collaborative team player;
  • Capable of managing stress and negotiating with dissatisfied clients;
  • Comfortable in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment that emphasizes change and rapid execution;
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity;
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious;
  • Strong communication skills.
