We are seeking a highly experienced Partner Sales Director to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Global System Integrator (GSI) partners.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with GSI partners to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with GSI partners, and develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Partner Enablement: Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams to ensure that GSI partners have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
- Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms with GSI partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Executive Engagement: Lead executive-level interactions with GSI partners, including presentations, workshops, and other business development activities.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Linux and cloud software ecosystems, as well as open source selling models.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executive-level stakeholders.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, with occasional international travel.
