The Sales Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and generating proposals tailored to customers' technical and commercial requirements. This position supports the sales teams and agents by providing both technical and commercial assistance. The specialist oversees daily operations within a designated territory, aiming to enhance the customer base and increase order intake. Responsibilities include verifying the accuracy of purchase orders, entering orders into the SAP system, and managing contracts.
Key Contributions
Evaluate technical and commercial specifications; Create technical and commercial proposals in line with customer specifications and company policies; Coordinate activities within the assigned territory, including monitoring quotes, follow-ups, and contract management; Assist the sales team with customer relations and business growth; Achieve the company's sales and profitability objectives by providing strategic insights and recommendations; Develop and propose action plans to enhance the efficiency of the inside sales department; Conduct proactive follow-ups on key target projects and open quotes; Participate in the planning, organization, and execution of conferences and trade shows; Aid the sales team in formulating regional strategies and action plans; Identify market trends, including pricing strategies and competitor activities; Prepare reports as needed and conduct win-loss analyses; Provide assistance to customers and agents as necessary; Generate reports as required; Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred; At least 1 year of experience in technical sales, inside sales, or marketing; Self-driven and motivated individual; Exceptional organizational abilities; Proficient in French and possess advanced English communication skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with external customers and internal staff; Proficient in using personal computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows; Capable of building strong relationships; Effective negotiation skills; Results-oriented mindset; Familiarity with SAP is advantageous; Willingness to travel as necessary (limited to 5% of the time).
