As a Systems Technician II, you'll perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. You'll troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems, and respond to basic warranty calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loads system-level controller software.
  • Performs sophisticated commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
  • Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer advised of job progress and issues.
  • Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
  • Completes administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field, or at least three to five years of industry experience.
  • Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to accurately represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
