Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and verification processes for Fire Alarm systems across diverse projects.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate efforts with fellow technicians and electrical professionals.
- Prepare verification documentation and conduct system acceptance evaluations.
- Stay informed about various product offerings and advancements.
- Diagnose deficiencies and resolve hardware-related issues.
- Travel as necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Implement programming changes and support staff training initiatives.
- Guide and mentor junior technicians in their professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Fire Protection sector.
- Completion of a diploma in Fire Protection or Electrical/Electronic disciplines.
- Certification from the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA).
- Familiarity with building and fire safety regulations.
- Capability to program fire alarm systems effectively.
- Proficient in using computers and electronic testing tools.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and ascend ladders.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
