Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Technology Transfer team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the coordination of technology transfer activities, ensuring seamless execution of projects, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support to Business
    • Provide technical expertise to support new business opportunities and existing client relationships.
    • Attend technical meetings to define project scope and objectives.
    • Research and identify new business opportunities and support the development of proposals.
    • Evaluate client production processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Support business managers in attending client meetings and reviews.
  • Tech Transfer Projects Management
    • Ensure the Technology Transfer team meets client requirements and project objectives.
    • Develop and manage project documentation, including the Technology Transfer Checklist and Gap Analysis.
    • Assign and coordinate tasks, identify root causes of technical problems, and manage project teams until resolution.
    • Attend project meetings with site management to share project timelines and milestones.
    • Manage and coordinate all activities within the Technology Transfer department.
  • Optimization of Production Processes
    • Contribute to the optimization of production processes, focusing on cost savings while maintaining compliance with cGMP and company procedures.
    • Identify and coordinate initiatives to minimize production costs and maintain company quality standards.
    • Deliver projects on time and meet agreed-upon timelines.
  • New Projects
    • Support business managers in evaluating technical costs of new job orders and providing material technical details.
    • Support business managers in defining technical risks related to new projects.
  • Team Management
    • Manage, coordinate, and control workload for direct reports, defining objectives and evaluating performance.
    • Ensure the right level of team training and development to guarantee high performance and motivation.
    • Generate and complete development plans for team members.
    • Mentor and coach team members.
    • Promote a safe working environment and ensure direct reports follow Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, pharmacy, or business.
    • Master's degree in science, engineering, pharmacy, or business is an asset.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
    • Minimum 7 years' experience in Engineering, Productions, Quality, or relevant contract manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum 5 years' project management and/or client service experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience.
