About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters in Georgetown, ON. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Provide feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and achieve goals
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with tight deadlines and high standards of quality. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a hot and noisy environment.
