About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Consultant to join our team at Sun Life. As a key contact for our external clients' outsourced group benefits administration services, you will be responsible for planning and executing the ongoing administration management of new and existing AdminPlus clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Develop and implement customized support, information, and training to AdminPlus plan sponsors throughout their annual benefit enrolment cycle and during other member events.
  • Project Management: Utilize project management methodology to address annual events such as re-enrolments and new client installations, and all client/member mass mailings.
  • Communication: Manage Plan Sponsor inquiries through all incoming mediums, including potential interaction with Plan Members.
  • Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving methodology to resolve ad-hoc issues.
  • Support and Education: Provide initial and ongoing support to Plan Sponsors, and provide Member education and support through various means.
  • Process Development: Establish and participate in the evolving processes and materials for this specialized product offering.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 5 years of client relationship management experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency with data management tools such as Excel, ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and problem-solve.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with a high interest in working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Language: Bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written) is required for frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
Preferred Skills
  • Group Benefits administration knowledge.
  • Flex Benefits knowledge.
  • HR benefits administration system knowledge.
  • Knowledge of methodologies and techniques for participating in workshops and testing deliverables.
  • Knowledge of existing SLF systems, OASIS, GBA & Member Enrolment Web applications, Chess, SIEBEL, and Genesis would be an asset.
