Occupational Therapist II, Inpatient Adolescent Unit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients in the inpatient adolescent unit.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients' strengths, needs, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patients' occupational performance and independence.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of postgraduate coursework or training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for the assigned area.
