We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement innovative occupational therapy programs to promote patients' independence and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus on inpatient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
