Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-In
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
- Room Reservations and Management
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
- Guest Services and Support
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Cash Handling and Reporting
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure financial accuracy.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any guest issues promptly.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is an asset.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
