Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
  • Room Reservations and Management
    • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
  • Guest Services and Support
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
    • Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting
    • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any guest issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
    • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
    • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
