Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Claims Representative to join our team at Definity. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing complex claims, and ensuring timely and fair resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate claims service to customers, internal and external
  • Manage complex and/or commercial auto claims, including interpreting policy wordings and determining coverage
  • Collaborate with fraud investigators, customers, brokers, and preferred vendors to resolve claims
  • Maintain detailed file records and process claims payments within authority level
  • Achieve targeted number of assigned claims per year and maintain a file disposition rate of 100%
Requirements
  • University degree in any discipline or college diploma or CIP designation
  • Minimum 3 years experience handling automobile physical damage claims of moderately complex to complex nature
  • Advanced knowledge of claims processes and procedures, including experience in both tort and DCPD provinces
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
