Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Warfare Lifecycle Management Specialist to join our team at ADGA Group Consultants Inc. This role is integral to supporting the Electronic Warfare Equipment Management Team within a prominent Defence initiative.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing electronic records and the physical inventory of Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment at our client site, focusing on the effective management of obsolescence for EW assets and aiding in the advancement of EW capabilities.

Your expertise will be essential in maintaining an up-to-date understanding of both current and emerging technologies in the EW domain, enabling you to provide informed guidance on equipment delivery schedules and related planning efforts. Collaboration will be key, as you will coordinate with military personnel, public service representatives, contractors, and private sector partners.

Specific Duties Include:
  • Overseeing the authorized distribution of Electronic Warfare equipment.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the fielded EW baseline.
  • Verifying that configurable items (CIs) meet specifications and analyzing failure rates or engineering modifications.
  • Creating and updating EW technical documentation, including engineering schematics, parts lists, and test evaluations.
  • Conducting system specialist user audits and providing constructive feedback.
  • Supporting testing and evaluation processes.
  • Assisting in procurement by supplying essential information regarding terms and conditions, statements of work, specifications, and technical data packages.
  • Advising on procurement strategies to enhance EW obsolescence management.
  • Facilitating training and development for new EW support personnel through informal discussions about EW technology and experiences.
  • Contributing to the EW Change Management process by configuring the EW baseline and integrating new technologies into EW systems.
  • Providing expert advice on EW obsolescence management planning and execution.
  • Configuring Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Configuration Items within the relevant domains.
  • Managing the mapping solution for the Black Bird NextGen system using the MapSpark service.
  • Maintaining the NCR EW Test Network.
  • Developing and maintaining test environments and procedures.
  • Serving as the ISTAR/Geo scrum master for the designated domain.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within the National Capital Region.
  • Proficient software skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; strong communication skills and adaptability are essential.
  • Eligibility for a Secret Level 2 PSPC Clearance is required.
  • Experience with DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Information System) is advantageous, as is familiarity with SAP modules.
  • A College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a related technical field is mandatory, or demonstrated Qualification Level 6B in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in at least 6 of the following areas:
    • Utilizing recognized process frameworks or LCMM Handbooks.
    • Working with ERP software for equipment cataloguing.
    • Maintaining and developing checklists through ERP systems.
    • Coordinating equipment distribution via ERP.
    • Evaluating and addressing deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports.
    • Analyzing Statements of Operational Requirements.
    • Reviewing Technical Data Packages.
    • Planning and executing equipment demilitarization and disposal.
  • At least 3 years of experience in preparing technical documents, including requirements, specifications, and reports.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in at least 4 of the following areas:
    • Developing briefing notes and presentations on technical and logistics issues.
    • Consulting with stakeholders on equipment lifecycle management.
    • Providing technical advice to support senior management decision-making.
