ADGA Group of Companies is actively seeking multiple Lifecycle Material Management Technicians to support a longstanding Defence Program.

We are interested in candidates with military backgrounds, particularly those who have retired from the Canadian Forces. If you have experience as a Technician in any technical field within the military, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

The roles involve providing comprehensive lifecycle material management for various products, including:

  • The first position focuses on the maintenance of physical communication systems, encompassing voice and data communications.
  • The second position centers on the upkeep of tactical sensors, which include geomatics systems, CBRN decision support tools, weapons locating systems, radars, and electronic warfare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering assessments and analyses to deliver technical solutions to specified logistical or operational challenges, including the preparation of Engineering Changes (ECs).
  • Prepare and disseminate Material Change Notices (MCNs) when ECs impact end-items such as part numbers, drawing numbers, manufacturer's codes, quantities, and applicability.
  • Establish standards and criteria pertinent to the maintenance of equipment or systems.
  • Create, modify, or update specifications and technical drawings.
  • Develop, revise, or enhance maintenance manuals, parts lists, operating instructions, and technical directives.
  • Execute configuration management tasks.
  • Monitor and report on managed materials, including cataloguing, spare parts, obsolescence issues, upgrade options, and divestment activities.
  • Analyze maintenance, repair, and overhaul data.
  • Investigate Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs).
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid SECRET level clearance with Public Works/PSPC. We can replicate a DND clearance if it remains active.
  • Candidates should have experience as a Technician in any technical discipline within the Canadian Forces.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, checklists, bulletins, reports, proposals, and equipment disposal plans.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in areas such as developing briefing notes and presentations to address technical and logistics issues, liaising with stakeholders for lifecycle management of equipment, and providing technical advice to support senior decision-making.

Educational Background:

  • A college diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a relevant technical field is required to support LCSS (Land Command Support Systems/Military related).
  • Alternatively, a demonstrated Qualification Level 6B (QL6B) in a relevant technical field (in Canadian Forces) and a minimum substantive rank of Warrant Officer in the Canadian Forces is required.
