Mastronardi Produce, the leading greenhouse vegetable company in North America, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team at our Kingsville Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans to enhance the SUNSET brand and build our profile.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit all internal and external content, including company newsletters, trade communications, media releases, website content, and brand collateral.
  • Project Management: Manage all Communications projects, including newsletters, calendars, and other brand materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, HR, merchandising, philanthropy, and events teams, to develop and execute the communications plan.
  • Trade Show Support: Support and attend trade shows to promote the SUNSET brand.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a Communications or Content Creation role.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management and analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as a team player, recognizing resources and meeting deadlines.
