About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler System Fitter to join our team at HAVEN FIRE PROTECTION LTD. as a key member of our installation and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Materials, Tools, and Personnel
  • Train and Instruct Apprentices
  • Install and Connect Piping Systems to Water Mains, Supply Tanks, Pumps, Compressors, and Control Equipment
  • Install Clamps, Brackets, and Hangers to Support Piping System and Sprinkler and Fire Protection Equipment
  • Install Valves, Alarms, and Associated Equipment
  • Join Pipes and Piping Sections Using Soldering and Welding Equipment
  • Service and Repair Sprinkler Systems
  • Supervise Other Workers
  • Test Systems for Leaks Using Air or Liquid Pressure Equipment
  • Clean and Maintain Pipe Units and Fittings and Flush Systems
  • Cut Openings for Pipes in Walls, Floors, and Ceilings Using Hand or Power Tools or Machines
  • Install Supports, Valves, Piping, and Control Systems
  • Measure, Cut, Thread, and Bend Pipes to Required Shape and Size
  • Remove and Replace Worn Components and Reactivate Systems
  • Select Type and Size of Pipe Required
  • Test Systems for Leaks Using Testing Equipment
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints, Maps, Drawings, and Specifications
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Experience in Sprinkler System Installation and Maintenance
  • Green Job: Involves Duties and Responsibilities that Lead to Positive Environmental Outcomes
