About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Fitter to join our team at HAVEN FIRE PROTECTION LTD. as a Fire Protection Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Schedule materials, tools, and personnel to ensure timely completion of projects. Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to guarantee quality workmanship.
  • Piping and Equipment Installation: Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment. Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.
  • System Testing and Repair: Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment and service and repair sprinkler systems as needed.
  • Support and Maintenance: Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings, flush systems, and remove and replace worn components.
  • Project Management: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size, and select type and size of pipe required.
  • Quality Control: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
