About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at 911 Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the finishing touches on construction projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects and meet client expectations.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial buildings, including wooden structures in various industries, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
