We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Hardwall Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure seamless integration with other building components.
- Train and supervise apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in carpentry and construction techniques.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of other construction team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various industries, to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
- Perform physical tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces, requiring a high level of physical fitness and agility.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry and construction, with a strong background in woodworking and building codes.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively train and supervise apprentices and team members.
