We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Hardwall Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
- Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a strong and stable framework for our buildings.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a seamless finish.
- Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring that our construction team has the necessary resources to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and structures, using your expertise to restore them to their former glory.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently, as well as stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. You must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
